The core functionality of the neatComponents system is provided by the various 'components'. Sites are constructed by adding various components to a site, and configuring each one - with styles, behaviors, permissions and content.

To minimise the work involved in setting up the components, the system supports inheritance, and automatically handles changes to the navigation links.
