neatComponents and clearString licenses
This is your Guide to your first application
We have already covered installing neatComponents for the first time in the Installation Guide.
These pages guide you through understanding how to work with the Components.
All applications are built onto web-pages - so the 'website' is the container that is used to deliver your application to its users. You can also style the website just like a regular webpage, but this walkthrough is about creating a basic data application in a deliverable way
This 'Quick-start' will introduce you to four basic aspects of working with neatComponents:
Part 1 - How to use your site to build an application
Explains how to use the example site, and how best to use this walkthrough Tutorial
Part 2 - How to create a webpage - the basic app container
Explains basic site construction and page editing tools
Part 3 - How to use a Form and Email
Introduces the techniques for getting data into the system and using the integrated email system with a simple Enquiry Form to Email example.
Part 4 - How to work with Data and Queries
Introduces the advanced data-handling tools and techniques that are the foundation of Application Development.

Wow - this site is plain!
Where are all the templates?
Where are the glossy images?
... and fancy navigation?
We do not include images with the walkthrough because we want you to see clearly how the components work together. We don't want the form to get in the way of understanding function.
Everything can be styled later without coding or scripting. You have full control over how your sites and applications look - Pages, Navigation, Forms - everything.
But for now, just concentrate on completing this walkthrough and learn how to bring data to your websites. Styling and imagery come later.
Styled and Configured examples
You will find FREE styled and configured examples in the section - 'Demo Applications' ready to import into your own installation, and you can also use the fully styled Professional Example as a Cloud trial.
